Our bungalows are the setting for an unusual coexistence between three predators gathered around a refrigerator. While humans and dogs naturally seek the company of others, cats tend to be more solitary. As Ira Lewis so aptly put it: “The dog thinks: they feed me, they protect me, they must be gods.
