Smelloship brings its third EP, “Smelloship III: Journey to the Armpit of the Sun,” to the Minotaure stage on Saturday, December 5, alongside guest artists. The EP will be released on December 4. Hailing from Ottawa and Gatineau, Smelloship is a six-piece band—a true “instromonstrosity.” Drawing on funk, soul and ’70s southern rock, the band blends vintage sounds with New Orleans second-line attitude in a decidedly groovy, greasy mix.
