The “3L” refers to three icons of Quebec popular music from the 1960s: Michel Louvain, Pierre Lalonde and Donald Lautrec. Rising stars of the APEX label, they helped shape the musical culture of this pivotal era and set the tone for the golden age of records and television in Quebec. Together, they represent more than 100 hit songs that people still hum today, including La dame en bleue, Buenas noches mi amor, Un certain sourire, Le temps des vacances, Nous on est dans le vent, Donne-moi ta bouche, Le mur derrière la grange, Manon viens danser le ska and Éloïse. Backed by talented musicians, impersonator Michael Rancourt, Benoit Labonté (Souviens-Toi-Joe) and Jean-Pierre Lalonde, Pierre Lalonde’s son, bring this era back to life. In an intimate, welcoming and sometimes playful atmosphere, this evening offers a musical journey through time, with every note rekindling cherished moments from the past.
