Our bungalows are the setting for a unique coexistence among three predators gathered around a refrigerator. While humans and dogs naturally seek the company of others, cats tend to be more solitary. As Ira Lewis so aptly put it: “The dog thinks: They feed me, they protect me, they must be gods. The cat, on the other hand, thinks: They feed me, they protect me, I must be a god.” This show skilfully blends biology, history and culture to tell, with humour and sensitivity, the story of dogs and cats alongside humans—an intimate part of our humanity.
